Valentine’s Gifts For Your Loved Ones, All Under $35

by Maggie Glenski

It’s time to pull out all those pink, red and white decorations from the closet, because Valentine’s Day is upon us.

This is one of our favorite holidays. Valentine’s Day brightens up the gloomy winter days that February is often delivering us. It’s a day where we get to give small gifts to our loved ones (counter to the bigger gifts we are usually eyeing for the holidays). For kids, it’s a special day full of cards, little gifts and (often) cozy heart pajamas. And for parents, it’s a day you get to see the joy on your kids’ faces while keeping it low-cost.

We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite gifts that are perfect for your little Valentine. Whether you’re looking for a simple way to say “I love you” or to go all-out with Valentine’s spirit, these picks are all $35 or under. They are all things your kids will love, yet you don’t have to break the bank for them.

Encourage them to wear their heart on their sleeve, literally

We are big fans of sweet, adorable Valentine’s Day apparel, but our favorite pieces are the ones that work well outside of the holiday itself. Like this heart beanie, a baby and toddler hat that comes in plenty of colors and will keep your child’s head warm and cute all winter long. Or go a bit bigger with these snuggly baby pajamas. And don’t forget about accessories! A head wrap is the perfect touch to any outfit.

Shower them with flowers

Who doesn’t love flowers on Valentine’s Day? While getting a bouquet of roses for your little one might not be the best investment, there are still fun ways to sneak them a flower or two. We are loving flower keepsakes, since they will last much longer than a traditional bouquet of flowers. Or little companions - a doll who also loves flowers or a little friend for your child to explore the garden with. You could even wrap your child up in flower buds with this organic swaddle(These flowers will last way longer than roses, too!)

Add a little something to their toy collection

Not every gift needs to scream Valentine’s Day - sometimes your little one just wants another toy for playtime. Help add to their collection with a floor puzzle, beginner puzzle, or art cards. Or upgrade their arts and crafts time with a new coloring book. Maybe they’d just love a unique playtime toy like a unicorn rattle or cute turtle

Throw a (little) Valentine’s party

Maybe you don’t have Valentine’s decor stashed in your closet - and that’s okay! Because there’s lots of fun wall decor or balloons you can snag to have a little Valentine’s party right in your home. Imagine your kids coming down for breakfast to find your table decorated with fun napkins and cups.
