Founded by eco-conscious mama, Anjali Harjani, her family’s deep East Asian roots in textile manufacturing provide Malabar Baby with a solid foundation to focus on quality. Design cues are taken from nature, traditional ethnic patterns, gorgeous locales, and iconic architecture. Hand-drawn sketches are traced onto wood and hand-carved to create the perfect wooden block. Skilled artisans then work over days to block-print by hand, carefully layering one color at a time. It’s truly a labor of love and no two products turn out exactly the same. Every print holds a story and every product is a piece of art.
